I absolutely love this book. I saw it on Facebook, read up on it, and bought it for all seven preschool classrooms at my center. The book gives children inspiring positive words for each alphabetic letter. It encourages children to think at a global and social level. Check out the following website. Not only does it have the book in-detail but it gives educators and parents alphabet posters, mindful set posters, and conversation cards that help adults talk with children about diversity, empowerment, bravery, and much more. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
Thanks for sharing this book. It is definitely something that I want to look more into and possibly purchase myself. I commend you on buying the book for every preschool classroom in your center. It is so important that the children start to learn about diversity at a young age because there are so many different people in the world. It is also great that the book touches on so many other topics (like self care and self centering tactics like exhaling and zen or empowerment and bravery). This book is very much so beneficial to people of all ages. It will definitely be added to my book collection.
