Love you post. Covid has been rough on the children. Teaching online has been a struggle and when children are in the classroom getting them to keep their mask on and stay behind their plastic shields are even worse. Due to COVID children are not allowed to even go outside and play anymore. And for my less fortunate children I fear for. At school they get breakfast, lunch, and snack and get as much as they want, but I'm worried that are not eating at least 3 times a day.
Kathleen, Great blog post in regard to how Covid-19 is affecting the lives of children. That is remarkably interesting the schools are passing children even if they have not passed. It really makes me think twice about the affects of Covid-19. One of the biggest concerns during the pandemic has been keeping people self. Laws and regulations have been put in place to keep people from spreading the virus. However, I am not aware of any laws or regulations that have been put in place to secure the education of children. I believe additional services are needed now more than ever to make sure a generation of children are not missing out on a proper education.
