My hope is that All families, no matter their backgrounds, are welcomed with a helping hand and an open heart. No matter where we live in the world, we should welcome each other’s differences as easily as the way we welcome our similarities.
I would like to see all early childhood educators advocate
for equality in social justice in and around their communities. I'd like to see
call educators welcome diversity and do not shy away from speaking up when you
see something thank you potentially harm another individual.
I'd like to thank all my colleagues for their insight and
their willingness to share their prior experiences. The only way change will
happen in the early childhood community is if we are willing to stand up for
children's rights, piggyback off of one another and build relationships as a
team. It takes a village 😊
I shared this video with the Professor. It seems like a good ending for my blog post this week.
Thank you for all of the great discussions and posts and thank you for the video as well. It is incredible to have a community where we can share, learn, and grow together! Good luck with everything in your future.
