Childbirth In My Life and In Germany

I used this birthing example because it was the only one I was involved in that I can recall.

  1. Hi Kathleen! It's nice to see we are in the same class and group again! Thank you for sharing your sisters story. I think it's so amazing that you were able to be there for your sister and so involved. I also love that you went to prenatal yoga classes with her. It's so interesting how each country has their own beliefs when it comes to birthing plans. The pictures you took were beautiful. Thank you again for sharing!

  2. Hey Kathleen,
I love how you were able to be sister’s photographer throughout her pregnancy. Being there to be able to capture all of the memories so your niece will have to share with her family is amazing. I am glad that your sister and her husband were able to compromise on different aspects of the pregnancy to ensure they both felt comfortable and included during the process. Thanks to you, I have learned something new in the German culture.

  3. Kathleen, I love that you were there to support your sister through her pregnancy. My sister too was my biggest support and resource while I was pregnant. Quite honestly, if I didn't have her to talk too, cry too, and talk through my fears with (I had some high risk pregnancies) I don't know that I would've made it through it all without her by myside. She was even in the delivery room (with my husband) when I delivered my daughter! I also love that you photographed your sisters pregnancy. I am always the picture taker, so when it comes to pictures of me they are few and far between, and I know someday, I'll wish that I had more pictures to remember the moments by!
